A CPA -- a Certified Public Accountant -- is the professional with the widest experience who can provide the greatest array of effective services to individuals and business owners. A CPA must undergo rigorous study, pass a strenuous and comprehensive examination, and be licensed by the State. Continuing professional education is very important to CPAs who constantly update their knowledge and skills to make the latest financial and accounting information available to their clients.
